UI Investissement : digitaliser la relation investisseurs, un projet d'abord humain
De 80 millions à 1,5 milliard d'euros sous gestion, une société de gestion avec des fonds 100 % private equity structure sa relation investisseurs, sans jamais perdre le lien.

When volume becomes the trigger
Founded in the late 1960s and taken over in 2000 by three partners, UI Investissement managed €80 million at the time. By 2025, the management company oversees nearly €1.5 billion (€1.7 billion in 2026), exclusively in private equity, across 11 regional offices that enable it to raise and deploy funds throughout France.
With nearly 80 funds, including around thirty active ones (defined as currently raising or deploying capital), this growth meant that the volume of documents, capital calls, and distributions to be sent to investors reached a tipping point. The trigger to implement a digital solution was clear: deliver high-quality, standardized, and easily accessible data to each investor, without endless email requests.
Two objectives, one standard: data quality
The project focused on two main areas. First, the investor portal: centralizing fund history, performance, and all data related to each investor's portfolio. Second, the onboarding process, which had previously been managed traditionally, was to be fully digitized through a clear, end-to-end workflow.
In its search, UI Investissement made a clear choice: a pure-play private equity solution.
“We really wanted a private equity pure player, and we realize today that this was incredibly valuable. We need to speak the same language, and the software must be adapted to all the specific constraints of private equity.”
Nicolas Prost, Director of Development and Investor Relations, UI Investissement
This decision proved key right from the deployment stage. By connecting its existing tools, particularly Salesforce, to InvestHub, the company realized just how much the final user experience depended on data quality. Consolidating older management reports, capital calls, and distributions, checking their consistency, and standardizing the data was a massive undertaking, but critical for delivering a seamless investor experience.
Support: where adoption truly happens
This is perhaps the key takeaway: beyond the platform itself, success lies in the quality of the support.
“During the onboarding phase, there were two distinct periods. First, we had almost daily contact with highly supportive teams who understood the funds we wanted to upload and the challenges we faced. Then, the meetings became less frequent as we took ownership of the tool, all the way through to fund creation. InvestHub remains readily available and highly responsive.”
A smooth handoff, moving from "doing it for us" to "doing it with us": UI Investissement's teams became fully autonomous without ever feeling left on their own.
Concrete benefits for both teams and investors
The benefits were felt immediately. Capital calls are now executed securely and automatically. For subscriptions, once the configuration is set up, the workflow ensures all documents and information are complete: when a subscription is sent for compliance verification, the team has access to all data and support documents, verified via WorldCheck.
“We now have secure, reliable data that is consistent for everyone.”
The only remaining question was investor adoption. The proof was in the usage: UI Investissement now sends almost no emails for its management reports, capital calls, or distributions, and 100% of new subscriptions are processed through the platform. This represents an exceptionally high adoption rate.
For UI Investissement, the trend is clear: just as online banking became the norm, investor portals are becoming an expected standard—and, in the near future, a prerequisite for successful fundraising.
